REGION ONE EXPERIENCE

DAY ONE, JULY 23, 2008

BY TONYA RATLIFF-GARRISON, FIELD EDITOR

Perfect Intermountain weather greeted exhibitors for the start of the 5-day Region One Experience at the Idaho Horse Park in Nampa, Idaho. Exhibitors from as far away as Alaska and  British Columbia were ready to meet new friends, learn from AQHA's Professional Horsemen, shop and show -- and they got to do all of that and more. Team Wrangler member Troy Priddy gave a barrel racing and pole bending clinic in the afternoon and even allowed participants to run back home to grab horses for a hands-on clinic. In the evening, AQHA Pro Horseman Lynn Palm, who is also one of the judges for the Region One Experience, gave a hunt seat clinic. Got a story idea from Region One? E-mail tonyag@aqha.org.
