New AQHA Event Calendar Available Online 

America’s Horse, May 22, 2008 – The American Quarter Horse Association recently launched its online event calendar at www.aqha.com/association/calendar.html. This user-friendly tool helps connect horse enthusiasts with upcoming American Quarter Horse-affiliated events in their area to help plan their travel schedule.

The event calendar is beneficial to everyone interested in American Quarter Horse activities. It allows users to seek out shows, races, membership activities and other events both locally and nationally with just the click of a mouse. 

“We are excited to add the AQHA event calendar to our Web site,” said AQHA Executive Vice President Bill Brewer. “We want to be sure American Quarter Horse enthusiasts are informed and able to participate in any activities available, and having the calendar of events online will help us accomplish that goal.”

The event calendar provides dates, locations, details and often contact information for each event. Entries can include event logos, links to separate Web sites and PDF attachments such as entry forms.

AQHA accepts requests for event posts. Information should be submitted months in advance of the event to ensure the target audience has access to the needed information.
